About us
An engineering-led, practical approach to inspection
Orbital Inspection Ltd is a UK-focused inspection business. We help asset owners, engineering managers, maintenance teams and contractors understand the condition of their assets through practical inspection and clear reporting.
Our approach
Practical, planned, clearly reported
We take an engineering-led approach to inspection. That means starting with the requirement — what the asset is, what the site allows, and what decision the findings need to inform — and building the scope around it.
We plan the work carefully, carry it out in line with the agreed scope, and report what we find in a way that is meant to be read and acted on. We do not overstate what we can confirm, and we are clear about where scope, methods or qualifications need to be agreed for a particular project.
Our focus is on supporting industrial and commercial projects across the UK, working with clients who need dependable condition information and reporting they can use.
What guides us
Four principles across every project
Understanding your requirements
We start by understanding what you need from the inspection — the asset, the site, the access and the decision the findings need to support.
Planning the work carefully
Inspection is planned and coordinated with site requirements and safe working practice in mind, against an agreed scope.
Practical inspection
Findings are gathered on site with a focus on what is useful and relevant to the asset and the decision at hand.
Communicating findings clearly
Reporting is written to be understood and acted on, so the people responsible for the asset can decide what to do next.
What we don't claim
We do not publish founding dates, staff numbers, years of trading, qualifications, accreditations or personal biographies we cannot verify. Where confirmation of methods, certifications or regulatory services is needed, we agree it with you during scope development rather than implying it here.
